Fletch deal finally concluded

Filed: Wednesday, 5th April 2017
By: Staff Writer

West Ham United have finally reached an agreement over the fee for Ashley Fletcher.

The 21-year-old striker moved to West Ham from Manchester United last summer but his fee was subject to a tribunal.

That fee was finally settled last week with West Ham ordered to pay Manchester 1million for Fletcher, with a further 1million to follow should he make a certain number of appearances.

That would however appear extremely unlikely, with the Keighley-born forward having made just 14 appearances for the Hammers - the vast majority as substitute.
