Lanzini happy at West Ham (for now)

Manuel Lanzini has reacted to a string of newspaper reports linking him with a summer transfer by insisting he is happy at West Ham.

The #10 was hauled out by the club this morning to dismiss stories linking him with the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool, after the Daily Star suggested the Argentine was a summer target.

"For now, I am thinking of the next game then thinking of having good holidays with the family," he told West Ham United's website. "I am very happy here.

“We did not start [the season] as expected but we had few problems and injures to deal with. Now we have to work hard for the forthcoming season.

"We have adapted to the changes [at the Olympic Stadium] and we achieved our target of remaining in Premier League. Next year, if we work hard, we will get a better result."

Lanzini, who completed a permanent £9million switch to West Ham last summer has made 38 appearances for the Hammers this season, scoring eight goals.
