Ex-Hammer Christian Dailly is poised to emerge from the shadows for a forthcoming legends 'World Cup' tournament.

The semi-reclusive former West Ham captain, who has generally steered clear of media appearances since retiring is returning to the spotlight next month along with three other former Hammers for the Star Sixes tournament in London next month.

Daiily, who will represent Scotland at the legends World Cup will feature alongside Don Hutchison (also representing Scotland) plus Rio Ferdinand and David James (England).

"Itís the first time Iíve had the chance to represent my country for a long time,Ē said Dailly, who made the last of his 67 senior international appearances nine years ago. "It looks like itís going to be a fantastic tournament, thereís going to be some terrific players playing, so it will be interesting to see how they are doing."

Meanwhile the likes of Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Alessandro Del Piero and Roberto Carlos are also scheduled to appear at the tournament, which takes place at the O2 Arena between 13-16 July.

* Thanks to our pals at Star Sixes, KUMB are delighted to be able to offer two pairs of tickets to two lucky readers for Friday, 14 July. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning one of our two prizes is answer the following question:

Which country did Christian Dailly brand "***ing diving cheats" after featuring in a Euro 2004 qualifier for Scotland back in 2004? (Hint - if you don't know already, YouTube is your friend!)

Please send your answer by email to competitions AT kumb.com along with your KUMB Forum user name. The winners will be notified later this month.
