Reece Oxford has arrived in Germany ahead of a season-long loan move to Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 18-year-old had been widely tipped to feature in Slaven Bilic's first team squad next term but will instead feature in the Bundesliga for Die Fohlen, should talks progress without any hitches.

Oxford flew into Germany earlier today for talks with Monchengladbach who are seeking a replacement for Chelsea centre-half Andreas Christensen. The young Dane has spent the last two seasons on loan at Borussia Park.

West Ham have no intention of selling Oxford, who spent the latter half of last season on loan with Championship side Reading, on a permanent basis.

* In other transfer news, West Ham may face a challenge for Joe Hart's signature from Manchester United according to Jason Burt.

The Reds are likely to move for Hart on a permanent basis if they allow David De Gea to join Real Madrid, says The Telegraph - whilst West Ham are seeking to sign the 30-year-old goalkeeper on a season-long loan.

* Enner Valencia is on the verge of striking a deal with Mexican club Tigres, according to ESPN.

The Ecuador international, 27, spent last season on loan with Everton but is set to leave West Ham this summer, three years after leaving another Mexican club, CF Pachua.
