OS sells out for second successive season

West Ham have sold out their entire 52,000 season ticket allocation at the Olympic Stadium for the second season in succession.

Despite having lost more than 5,000 season ticket holders who walked away after just one season at the OS, the club have managed to replace them all with more than a month left until the start of the 2017/18 campaign.

Manager Slaven Bilic was thrilled to hear that he and his team would be playing in front of a capacity crowd next season.

"Every player wants to play in front of huge crowds, and it is fantastic for this Club that we can offer that opportunity to our squad week-in-week-out," he told the club's website.

"I want to thank all 52,000 of those supporters who have faith in the team, my staff and I to keep them entertained with the kind of football and results that their incredible support deserves.

"At every match the players and I feel the fans' support from the stands and we hope to be able to create some more fantastic memories this season for all West Ham supporters, in front of a packed London Stadium."

However there are still no plans to extend the ground's capacity beyond 57,000, despite West Ham's wishes to increase the Olympic Stadium's capacity.
