West Ham target hands in transfer request

Stoke City winger Marko Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request - giving West Ham the green light to make a move.

The Austrian winger has made no secret of his discontent at the bet365 Stadium and is set to get his move after submitting a transfer request today.

And West Ham - who have been monitoring the player's situation for several months - are poised to offer the 28-year-old, who only signed a new four-year contract last summer, an escape route.

Linked with the likes of Paris St Germain and AC Milan in recent weeks, Arnautovic is currently valued in the 15million bracket - despite only costing the Potters 2million when moving from Werder Bremen in 2013.

News of West Ham's interest in Arnautovic was first revealed by KUMB Forum member Jinxed last week; you can keep up with all the latest transfer news on the Forum's summer transfer thread.
