Fans furious at Quina loan deal

Hammers fans have reacted with astonishment to the news that West Ham are set to allow Academy star Domingos Quina to join Sheffield United on a season-long loan.

It was only a decade ago that the Blades successfully sued West Ham for circa 30million having been relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2006/07 season, blaming West Ham and Carlos Tevez (who failed to score in his first 20 games for the club).

Yet despite that travesty of justice, West Ham have bizarrely agreed to allow the teenage forward to join the Championship club on loan for the duration of the 2017/18 season, according to reports.

Not surprisingly, the decision has upset many West Ham supporters who believe that as a result of the Tevez affair, the club should refuse to entertain any contact or business with the Yorkshire club.

"Just sums up the board and how much regard they have for the club and its fans," wrote David Clerihew on Twitter - a somewhat milder response than that of Ossie BM6, who said he would be "fucking furious if it goes ahead. Should never be talking to them."

"Surely there must be someone else that would want him?" asked Dan Adams, who added "we should never deal with them or Tottenham". Whilst fellow Hammers fan Kevin added: "Couldn't make it up. I despair about our club with those clowns in charge."
