Rail service reinstated for Town clash

Filed: Thursday, 7th September 2017
By: Staff Writer

Disruption to greateranglia rail service next week will be much less noticeable than originally expected.

And that's because the rail company has postponed planned works on the Liverpool Street lines as a result of next week's Premier League programme.

How those travelling from East Anglia will be affected

"Due to major football fixtures during this week, the planned rail replacement service between Shenfield and Wickford on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will no longer apply," read a statement on their website.

"A train service has been reinstated in lieu. Please check electronic journey planners for further details." The changes to service relate to Monday, 11 September through Thursday, 14 September.
