West Ham's Under 23s suffered their first reversal of the season in PL2 as they went down 3-1 to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The young Hammers had recorded two wins and a draw from their opening three matches of the campaign prior to Monday night's defeat, which saw Toni Martinez net West Ham's consolation.

However goals from West Ham summer target Kelechi Iheanacho plus second half efforts from Iborra and George Thomas were enough to condemn Terry Westley's charges to their first league defeat of the season. You may view highlights here.

The defeat leaves United fourth in Division One, ahead of City on goal difference. Liverpool currently top the table, being as they are the only team to win all four of their opening quadrant of fixtures.

Next up for the Hammers is the visit of the current table toppers, who face West Ham at Dagenham's Victoria Road ground on Monday, 18 September (7pm kick off).
