The knives are out for Arsene Wenger following his team's inability to break down a resolute and determined West Ham at the Olympic Stadium.

Spare a thought for those poor Gooners as they contemplate falling out of the top four and into the footballing wilderness, in your latest edition of the OV...

"Another pathetic display by a bunch of totally disinterested players and an incompetent manager. How much longer will the fans put up with such mediocrity. If AW had any self respect he would resign now and let someone else takeover."
- tufnelltoughie

"Any bit of life and creativity has slowly been extinguished and what we're now seeing is a comatose and lustreless club. We are slowly morphing into a top 6 team. The manager thinks changing formations, backroom staff and buying players will solve things. When will he realise?"
- Vieira

"Even city struggled against these tactics by lowly teams. They got away at the last minute. Its difficult these games i tell you. Anyone blames anyone today then he is a complete football Baboon."
- immsun

"I said after the Southampton game that we were now at our level, competing with the likes of Southampton and Watford, and Letters told me to behave. In actual fact, I was doing a disservice to those teams, we are worse. The decline has stepped up a gear, and there is no telling how bad we can get. As long as Stan and Wenger are there, we are absolutely fucked."

"We are 7th with 30 pts, Burnley ahead of us and Leicester breathing down out neck. What a fvcking mess we've become!"

"Arsenal Fan TV post match show opens up with 'West Ham have done it again. Another barnstorming performance against one of the biggest and best teams in world football!' What are they seeing? How much are they getting paid?"
- Niall_Quinn

"Apart from Liverpool, this happens most away days. Its not a good performance at all, West Ham came closer to winning the game then we did. We didnt look good going forward, We looked like we were going to concede when defending....thats not a good performance. People seem to think that dominating a ball for 90 minutes is a good performance. Arsenal are at thier weakest when we have the ball, teams happily give us the ball and wait for us to self destruct."
- marting

"What we saw today was us playing sideways all day around their 18 yard box without any plan as to what to do from there. West Ham created more clear cut chances and were unlucky not to score."
- Arsenal~Fanatic

"West Ham aren't going down now, they're too good to go down and Moyes is capable of keeping them up. Also replacing that fraud Hart with Adrian was a great decision."
- Tir Na Nog

"The forums seems divided into two. 1) Those posters thinking that the game was not bad, despite Kos's error. Very similar to Chelsea in fact. 2) And posters pretending that 1) posters have low standards and they're the only ones with ambition. Of course there is no truth to this, the reaction is just a reflection of society. It's like when you're not sure which turn to take in your car and as you slow one motorist behind will give you time to think and another will sound the horn and shout 'f***ing idiot' out of the window."
