Martinez joins Real

Toni Martinez has joined Spanish club Real Valladolid on loan for the remainder fo the season.

The 20-year-old made his first team debut under David Moyes in the FA Cup 3rd round tie against Shrewsbury last month, but has been allowed to join the second division team on a short term basis in order to gain further first team experience.

Martinez's stint at Valladolid will be his second spell on loan since joining West Ham, following an earlier arrangement with Oxford for whom he scored three goals in 17 appearances last season.

The young striker signed a threee-year contract when joining West Ham from Valencia in April 2016.
