David Moyes says that Saturday's trip to Swansea is still on - although he believes the Premier League should consider postponing the fixture.

The country remains under a blanket of snow following showers throughout the week with temperatures having barely risen above frozen.

And Moyes admitted to being concerned at having to made the four-hour road trip via the M4 on Friday afternoon.

"The Met Office is saying people shouldn't travel, especially through Cardiff and down the M4," he told the media during his pre-match press conference.

"It is a concern at the moment and I'm guessing it shouldn't be any different for football teams and fans. I think the Premier League may need to look at that."

The manager - who also revealed that he has a fully fit squad bar "a few people with knocks and bruises" - also admitted that the battle to avoid relegation will likely run until the end of the season.

"It's the tightest it's been since I can remember," he mused. "The bottom of the table is tightening up and the top of the table is getting further away.

"No one can guarantee they are going to be okay. Those newly promoted clubs have made it difficult for other teams. There's a fight on that will go to the end of the season.

"Ever since I've come in, every game has been a big game. We've picked up some good results, but we've got to be mindful of how well Swansea have done. "We've got to be mindful, going there.

"We've had some good results away from home, but the home games are important to most clubs. There's a lot of draws at the bottom end of the table. If we keep picking up points we will be a Premier League club next season."
