West Ham's in-form forward Marko Arnautovic has reacted to reports suggesting Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is interested in signing him.

The 29-year-old starred in Austria's shock 2-1 win against World Cup favourites Germany at the weekend and following the game, was asked about his thoughts regarding a potential move to Old Trafford.

"Itís nice to hear," replied Arnautovic, who joined West Ham in a £20milion deal from Stoke last summer. "Iíve not heard anything from my brother, my agent. You can keep asking this question, youíll never hear the answer from me."

And when pressed to comment on Mourinho's presence in the stands for the match, he retorted: "He was on holiday, he told you. I havenít spoken to him, he was on holidays."

Arnautovic previously worked alongside Mourinho at Inter Milan, where the two enjoyed a fiery relationship. West Ham are unlikely to want to sell their leading goalscorer and would demand a fee in the region of £75million to do so.

Austria beat Germany 2-1 courtesy of goals from Martin Hinteregger and Alessandro Schopf. Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has given the visitors an early lead.
