Latest: West Ham closing in on Anderson deal

Negotiations between West Ham and Lazio over Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson are said to be progressing well.

According to the latest reports from Italy, the two parties have reached agreement over the sale of the 25-year-old, with a fee in the region of 30million plus add-ons said to have been settle upon (Tuttomercato).

And as a result, the Hammers are believed to have fought off competition from the likes of Leicester and Southampton, who were also reported to be interested in signing the attacking midfielder.

Anderson, who made 32 appearances for Lazio in all competitions last season, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists, is expected to hold talks with the Hammers later this week.
