Four live matches announced for August and September

West Ham United's opening game of the 2018/19 season has been postponed by 24 hours at the behest of broadcasters.

United's trip to Anfield, where they will face beaten Champions League finalists Liverpool on the opening day of the new campaign, has been moved from Saturday, 11 August to Sunday, 12 August.

The match - originally a 3pm start - is now scheduled to kick off at 1.30pm. And it was just one of four live TV fixtures announced for the forthcoming season, which commences on the second weekend of August.

In addition to the Liverpool visit, West Ham's trip to the other side of Stanley Park, for the clash against Everton at Goodison Park - has been moved to Sunday, 16 September with a 4pm kick off.

Then follow two home live matches against Chelsea on Sunday, 23 September (1.30pm) and Manchester United six days later (12.30pm start).

Sunday, 12 August
1.30pm: Liverpool v West Ham Utd (Sky Sports)

Sunday, 16 September
4.00pm: Everton v West Ham Utd (Sky Sports)

Sunday, 23 September
1.30pm: West Ham Utd v Chelsea (Sky Sports)

Saturday, 29 September
12.30pm: West Ham Utd v Manchester Utd (BT Sport)
