West Ham United have added a seventh pre-season friendly to their summer schedule.

Manuel Pellegrini's side opened their summer campaign with defeat against Swiss outfit FC Winterthur on Sunday, but will return to mainland Europe at the end of the month for the Betway Cup encounter against FSV Mainz.

Thereafter, the Hammers will take in at least one more friendly before the 2018/19 curtain-raiser at Liverpool on Sunday, 12 August following the announcement that Ligue 1 side Angers SCO have been lined up for a friendly on Friday, 3 August.

The match, which is scheduled to kick off at 5.30pm BST will take place at Das.Goldberg Stadium, the 4,330-capacity home of Austrian third tier side SC Grodig.

Ticket information for the match will be confirmed shortly; West Ham's pre-season schedule now looks as follows:

8 July: FC Winterthur 3-2 West Ham Utd (Stadion Schutzenwiese)
14 July: Wycombe Wanderers (Adams Park)
21 July: Preston North End (Deepdale)
25 July: Aston Villa (Bescot Stadium)
28 July: Ipswich Town (Portman Road)
31 July: FSV Mainz (Kufstein Arena)
3 August: Angers SCO (Das.Goldberg Stadium)
