Three more for Pellegrini [video]

West Ham United are hoping to conclude up to three additional signings ahead of tomorrow's transfer window deadline.

Although he has already signed seven new faces for the first team squad this summer, Manuel Pellegrini is hoping to push the boat out and take his number of new arrivals into double figures ahead of Thursday's 5pm deadline.

Two of those deals, for Arsenal striker Lucas Perez and Fiorentina's veteran midfielder Carlos Sanchez (above), are almost complete bar some minor discrepancies regarding agents' fees.

However the Hammers are also considering a late move for at least one other arrival ahead of Thursday's deadline.

One name heavily linked with West Ham during the past 48 hours is Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, although that move would seem unlikely given that the La Liga club are demanding 50million for the Uruguayan international.

Some reports emanating from Spain today claimed that West Ham had made a final offer of 40million for the 21-year-old World Cup star, although that has since been disputed by the club.
