Pellegrini: patience was key [audio]

Manuel Pellegrini was delighted to secure his first win as West Ham manager - and hopes to follow up tonight's Carabao Cup success with a Premier League victory this weekend.

Following three consecutive league defeats, Pellegrini's West Ham earned their first win of the campaign against League One WImbledon at Kingsmeadow.

And the manager insisted that patience was key against a dogged and determined Wimbledon side, who were reduced to ten men as early as the 18th minute.
