Ardley accuses Hernandez of gamesmanship [audio]

Wimbledon boss Neil Ardley believes that Rod McDonald was sent off as a result of gamesmanship by West Ham's Javier Hernandez.

The Wimbledon manager, speaking to Sky Sports after the game insisted that the Mexican striker had "gone down very easily" as the two players clashed on the edge of the hosts' penalty box.

McDonald, who had already been booked for an earlier foul was sent off with just 18 minutes on the clock - leading Ardley to accuse the Hammers striker of playacting.

"In our league, that happens quite often across the pitch and it's not given," he said. "I think it's arm to arm and he's thrown himself to the floor."
