Former pro turned pundit Michael Owen believes that West Ham are in for a tough time this weekend.

Visitors Chelsea are hoping to become only the third team since the Premier League's 1992 inception to win their opening six matches of the season, having accrued a perfect 15 points form their opening five matches.

And Owen, who played for the likes of Liverpool and Manchester Utd during his career, believes that the Hammers will have their work cut out.

"I watched West Hamís win at Goodison at the weekend and thought it was an excellent result for the Hammers," Owen told BetVictor.

"Although it's fair to say that, on the day, Everton were there for the taking.

"West Ham have lost more Premier League London derbies than any other club. That said, I expect the hosts to give Chelsea a real game in what should be a cracking derby.

"I feel Maurizio Sarri will become just the third Premier League manager to win his first six games in the competition after Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola."
