Post-match press conference: Manuel Pellegrini v Chelsea [audio]

Filed: Monday, 24th September 2018
By: Staff Writer

Manuel Pellegrini admitted to being delighted with a clean sheet against previously-unbeaten Chelsea - but was disappointed that his team failed to take one of their golden opportunities to score.

West Ham - spurred on by an inspired performance from goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski - kept their first clean sheet of the Premier League season against Maurizio Sarri's high-flying Blues, much to the manager's pleasure.

However he insisted that either Michail Antonio or Andriy Yarmolenko should have taken at least one of the chances presented to them to ensure the Hammers took all three points from the game.

You may hear Pellegrini's thoughts from his post-match presser, in full, below.
