Pre-match press conference: Manuel Pellegrini v Burnley

Filed: Friday, 2nd November 2018
By: Staff Writer

Manuel Pellegrini revealed that he will have no players back from injury when West Ham host Burnley at the Olympic Stadium tomorrow - but still expects his team to produce a winning performance.

The manager - who is without eight first team players, four for several months - insisted that "it is a game [in which] we cannot fail" when asked whether the visit of Burnley was one he considered a "must win" fixture.

And Pellegrini also revealed that record-signing Felipe Anderson was unhappy at his own level of performances following criticism that the Brazilian had failed to deliver since moving to West Ham from Lazio.
