Post-match press conference: Manuel Pellegrini v Burnley

Filed: Saturday, 3rd November 2018
By: Staff Writer

"A very good performance and a very good result", was how Manuel Pellegrini described this afternoon's defeat of Burnley in a thrilling match at the OS.

Six goals, two shots that hit the woodwork and another effort cleared off the line - not to mention a blatant penalty that wasn't awarded - were just the main highlights from an entertaining affair, from which West Ham ran out 4-2 winners.

And Pellegrini admitted that he was delighted with the response from the fans, who gave the boss and his team a rousing round of applause at the final whistle in recognition of a solid afternoon's work.

You may hear Pellegrini's thoughts from his post-match press conference, in full, below.
