West Ham lead and trail for the same time

West Ham United have spent just 28 per cent of league matches this season leading their opposition.

With almost a third of the 2018/19 Premier League season complete, Manuel Pellegrini's West Ham have spent exactly the same about of time leading in matches as they have been behind, according to Experimental 3-6-1.

Currently, only seven other Premier League teams can better West Ham's record of leading in Premier League matches - the top ten are as follows:

1. Manchester City (68.0%)
2. Liverpool (57.5%)
3. Tottenham (46.9%)
4. Chelsea (42.3%)
5. Bournemouth (36.3%)
6. Watford (35.8%)
7. Manchester Utd (31.3%)
8. West Ham Utd (28.3%)
9. Arsenal (25.7%)
10. Brighton & Hove Albion (24.8%)

Meanwhile, unbeaten Manchester City lead the way with regards to being behind for the LEAST amount of time during league fixtures.

The current league leaders, who visit West Ham following the forthcoming international break have spent less than ONE PER CENT of their matches in arrears. The top ten in this category are as follows:

1. Manchester City (1.0%)
2. Chelsea (3.8%)
3. Liverpool (5.7%)
4. Tottenham (14.5%)
5. Everton (16.9%)
6. Bournemouth (19.6%)
7. Arsenal (21.5%)
8. Watford (23.1%)
9. West Ham Utd (28.3%)
10. Wolves (29.4%)

West Ham have so far won three of their 12 Premier League matches (25%, versus Everton, Manchester Utd and Burnley), lost six (50%, against Liverpool, Bournemouth, Arsenal, Wolves, Brighton, Tottenham) and drawn three (Chelsea, Leicester , Huddersfield), and are currently 13th in the table.

Liverpool 4-0 West Ham Utd
Liverpool led from the 19th minute, when Mo Salah scored their first.

West Ham 1-2 Bournemouth
West Ham led for 27 minutes after Marko Arnautovic opened the scoring, but trailed for the final 24 minutes.

Arsenal 3-1 West Ham Utd
Arnautovic's 25th minute goal was cancelled out five minutes later, whilst Arsenal spent the last 20 minutes ahead.

West Ham Utd 0-1 Wolves
Adama Traore's injury-time winner meant the Hammers trailed for a matter of seconds in this match.

Everton 1-3 West Ham Utd
West Ham led from the 11th until the 90th minute, as Everton scored their goal when two behind.

West Ham Utd 0-0 Chelsea
No winners, no losers.

West Ham Utd 3-1 Manchester Utd
West Ham were ahead from the the 5th minute of the game, when Felipe Anderson opened the scoring.

Brighton 1-0 West Ham Utd
The hosts led from he 25th minute, when Glenn Murray scored the game's only goal.

West Ham Utd 0-1 Tottenham
The only goal of the game arrived a minute before half-time.

Leicester 1-1 West Ham Utd
West Ham lead from the 30th minute (Balbuena's header) through to the 89th, when Onyinye Ndidi snatched an equaliser for the Foxes.

West Ham 4-2 Burnley
The Hammers were in front between the 10th and 45th minute, from the 68th to the 77th and finally, from the 84th minute until the end - a total of 50 minutes.

Huddersfield 1-1 West Ham Utd
Anderson's 74th minute equaliser negated Alex Pritchard's 6th minute opener.
