West Ham United midfielder Robert Snodgrass has donated 3,000 to the Isla Caton appeal.

The Scottish international made the generous donation - to which an additional 750 gift aid was added - earlier today, as the appeal fund approached the two-thirds mark.

Snodgrass accompanied the donation with a message to Isla. "Keep fighting little one," penned the 31-year-old father of one.

The campaign, which is aiming to raise 600,000 had accrued 395,590 at time of writing.

The family of the four-year-old are raising funds in order to send Isla to the USA for much-needed treatment as she continues to fight Neuroblastoma, a cancer that attacks the nervous system and which is mostly found in young children and babies.
