Post-match press conference: Manuel Pellegrini v Burnley

Filed: Monday, 31st December 2018
By: Staff Writer

Manuel Pellegrini felt that West Ham's lack of rest was a major contribution to the 2-0 defeat at Turf Moor against Premier League relegation candidates Burnley.

The manager complained that a week of travelling back and forth had taken its toll on his players, who were well off the pace against a Clarets team that had won just three league games this season prior to yesterday's meeting.
