Post-match press conference: Manuel Pellegrini v Brighton & Hove Albion [audio]

Filed: Wednesday, 2nd January 2019
By: Staff Writer

Manuel Pellegrini admitted to being "very disappointed" after his team conceded two quick goals from set pieces against a team renowned for scoring from them.

However the Chilean manager was equally encouraged by West Ham's resolve and "spirit" in fighting back to earn a point against Brighton in Stratford, thanks to Marko Arnautovic's second half brace.

Pellegrini also gave special praise to substitutes Mark Noble and Michail Antonio, who he felt were instrumental in West Ham's comeback following their introduction shortly after the Seagulls had taken a surprise 2-0 lead.

You may hear the manager's thoughts from his post-match press conference, in full, below.
