Garry Monk felt that his Birmingham side could be justly proud of their efforts despite falling to a 2-0 defeat against West Ham in Stratford this lunchtime.

The Blues boss, who had just 18 fit senior players at his disposal was full of praise for his players who he insisted "kept fighting until the end" despite having fallen behind within 90 seconds.
