Travel chaos awaits Essex-based fans

Essex based fans attempting to travel to Stratford by rail this weekend in order to attend West Ham's match against Arsenal are set to face a series of disruptions.

Those supporters travelling on the Southend to Liverpool Street line, as operated by Greater Anglia will have to use a replacement bus service for any stops beyond Shenfield and Southend.

The limited service also effects those travelling on the Wickford to Southminster line, which will not be operating at all; once again, a replacement bus service will be in operation.

And there will also be limited to no service for those travelling to Stratford or Liverpool Street via Hertford East, Stansted Airport, Cambridge or Cambridge North.

Rather closer to the ground and there will also a reduced service in operation between Gospel Oak and Barking on the London Overground.

On the bright side, the C2C line from Southend to Fenchurch Street should be fully operational, with no disruptions planned for this coming weekend.
