Andriy Yarmolenko has thanked the entire West Ham family for their support during his lengthy recovery from injury.

And having recently determined that he is extremely to play again this season, Yarmolenko took time out of his recovery to thank Hammers fans for their support in person and via social media.
"I’ve had so many positive messages from West Ham fans," he told whufc.com. "For me it really helps. West Ham supporters are really passionate and I think we, as a group of players, really appreciate that.
"I can’t wait to be back and to feel this again. It’s not easy to be without football because I love it, but it’s happened and you must concentrate on your recovery. Everyone is helping me - my family, my teammates and the staff.

Upon sustaining the injury four months ago, the initial diagnosis - as confirmed by Manuel Pellegrini - was that Yarmolenko would be back in action for the first team around April time.
However it is understood that the Ukraine international will almost certainly have to wait for the beginning of the 2019/20 campaign before resurrecting his career in east London.
