By: Staff Writer

Pep Guardiola believes that Manchester City fans will give Manuel Pellegrini "the reaction he deserves" when the Chilean brings his West Ham team to the Etihad on Wednesday evening.

Guardiola confirmed that Pellegrini - who led City to the 2013 Premier League title - is still held in high regard by Citizens fans and can expect to receive a warm welcome from the home fans ahead of the midweek clash.

"He did an incredible job," said Guardiola. "He had a good team and they did well. And he's an excellent person - he's always polite and is respected at all his previous clubs."
