Pellegrini pans a 'very bad performance'

Manuel Pellegrini says that West Ham's away form is set to be the subject of an urgent review after the Hammers fell to a 2-0 defeat against lowly Cardiff on Saturday afternoon.

A deeply disappointed Pellegrini called the defeat "a very bad performance" as West Ham conceded a goal at the start of each half against a side that had conceded ten and scored just once in their last three Premier League outings.

"We had one shot from Marko that hit the post but it's not enough to win away against a team who are fighting against relegation, "said Pellegrini.

West Ham's last away win came at Southampton on December 27, since when Pellegrini's side have lost five and drawn one of their six away fixtures.
