Post-match press conference: Manuel Pellegrini v Huddersfield Town [audio]

Filed: Saturday, 16th March 2019
By: Staff Writer

Manuel Pellegrini praised the character of his squad tonight after they came back from 3-1 down to secure all three points against Huddersfield Town.

However the boss admitted to being slightly frustrated that the Terriers scored their first two goals from set pieces - despite Pellegrini having spent considerable time in training this week attempting to nullify that particular threat.

"The most important thing was not to give up," Pellegrini told the media during his post-match conference. "At 71, 72 minutes you're thinking it's impossible for us to come back - but it takes just one second to change the score."
