Manuel Pellegrini says that Felipe Anderson and Mark Noble should both return in time to feature against Chelsea next weekend.

Anderson, who missed the 2-0 defeat against Everton with an ankle injury is expected to return to training by midweek - whilst Noble, who sat out following the death of a close his Grandmother, has already returned.

"Felipe had a pain in his ankle on Friday, the day before the game, and thatís why he couldnít play," said Pellegrini following Saturday's 2-0 reversal. "I think and hope that he will be ready on Tuesday or Wednesday.

"I also think that Mark Noble is important for this team and for personal reasons he couldnít play. But itís not the matter of one player, itís the matter of the team and we cannot have this kind of performance if we want to try to fight for a spot in Europe."

The Brazilian winger has featured on 35 occasions for West Ham already this season, having scored nine times in the process. He made his first appearance for Brazil in four years last week when featuring in the 1-1 friendly draw with Panama.

Meanwhile midfielder Noble has featured on 26 occasions during the current campaign with three goals - all from the penalty spot - to his name.
