Well things are beginning to settle down now in the race for the coveted (it says here) KUMB Writers Award.

To recap, these awards are based on the player marks submitted after each match by our highly-trained, and occasionally sober match reporters.

The marks are fed into a spreadsheet featuring complex algorithms, subroutines and, for all I know, copious amounts of sticky-back plastic to give an average mark per match.

The current standings as at the end of October are as follows (qualification 9 matches):
