I remember taking my O level in English Language a year early at school. English was my favourite subject, I wanted to be a journalist when I grew up (luckily that was one bit of careers advice I chose to ignore - I ended up becoming a careers adviser), so I thought I was in a great position to get a bit of a head start on all the real clever bastards in my year by going one-nil up on most of them.
Before KUMB.com becomes inundated with Fulham fans and whinging Northerners crying into their pies about how unfair it is that West Ham were not deducted points by the Premier League, and before even the outcome of the ‘battle at the bottom’ for the last two remaining drop slots are decided, I wanted to put the record straight in (hopefully) language that all of those embittered followers of the relegation scrappers could understand on the situation regarding Carlos Tevez, Javier Mascherano and West Ham United.
There's a line in an old blues standard song that says 'if it wasnt for bad luck, I wouldnt have any luck at all', and this certainly seem to fit the mood and the feeling around Upton Park this season.
I dont know about anyone else, but reading the KUMB forums and in the press and TV about our beloved team has become almost excrutiating this season.
