The brand is actually "Fresh Ego Kid", but then again it would have made it more difficult for the mail to turn that into a headline wouldn't it?

Purchased a portable air conditioning on Saturday, for the bedroom.

It's bloody marvellous.

Far be it for me to stick up for him but he's done the time inside required by the state, his professional and personal life must be in utter tatters. I doubt he could be in a worse place.

Maybe the Mail should find something interesting to write about and just leave him to get on with things.

I had a hospital appointment this morning, fully expecting to have heart bypass surgery. The doc did a final angiogram test to assess what should happen and decided that I didn't need the full chest-open elbow-deep procedure, and instead slung in three stents via a catheter in my wrist.

Instead of a couple of weeks in critical care, I'm home already and looking forward to a sunny week recuperating with my feet up in the garden.

Life is sweet.

I've got the catheter jobbie on the 6th, but the bastards are going through my groin!! I'm going to make a wrist appeal.
They're sticking a laser up it, and burning away some heart muscle.....Can't say I'm looking forward to it......

Christ, that makes my snip look like a roll in the daisies. I have to say, though, God bless medical science and the National Health Service!

Best of British, Tenners, come back better x

I think through the groin thingy is pretty standard & routine, Tenners. As is the 'burning away'.
Cardio med is SO advanced. It's just a pump & pipes, to them.
Honestly mate, it'll be just like going to the dentist, only with your legs open instead of your mouth..
Of course, that's only ok if you're not petrified at the dentists..

My heart rate's 130 - 150, and they won't do my hip again till it's sorted, so I've got no choice really.Trouble is some of these nurses in tight uniforms cause a false reading.
Thanks for the good wishes.

Just had a full building fire alarm evac test. 12 story mixed use office.

Some of the ladies on the floor above, absolute knockouts.
