Just had a bacon sarnie from the cafe behind the office and it was pukka.

Nice thick bacon, not too salty, lightly crisped but still with a bit of moistness and not cooked until it tastes like cardboard, and nice fresh soft white bread.

£2.50 well spent, and then washed down with a top notch cappucino from the hipster coffee shop down the road.

That is the one thing I miss about my last workplace - the self-service breakfast thing on a friday, which I used to interpret as a "how much bacon can you fit in one sandwich?" challenge. I believe my record was 9 slices. Wonder if it's been broken?

Had to drop off some paperwork in preparation for starting my new job first thing this morning, so held off on Breakfast until afterwards. Went to a cafe and had a Sausage, Egg & Beans Bap and a lovely big Cuppa. Made a mess all over my shirt, but don't care :D

Fathers day, so I took my dad down his favourite place for a roast dinner. I had 1 x beans on toast, 1 x mushrooms on toast with a side order of well done fried Toms. Lovely.

Scarabled eggs this morning. I've got this down to perfection now....

4 eggs, dash of milk, season + add a small bit of nutmeg if you want. Whisk.

Meanwhile, in a non stick frying pan, melt a nob butter then add the egg mix.

Cook on a medium heat folding and moving the eggs around with a silicon spatula constantly.

When almost done, remove from heat and allow the residual heat to continue cooking.

Serve on 2 slices of granary toast with tomato ketchup.
