Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is the official title of the cat that lives at 10 Downing Street.

Or 'Larry' as he's better known as to his friends.

During a total solar eclipse, the Sun and the Moon as seen from Earth appear to be approximately the same size, even though the Sun's diameter is about 400 times the Moon's diameter.
This is only possible because of the absolutely amazing coincidence that the Sun's distance from Earth is about 400 times the Moon's distance from Earth...

Sadly for future generations, the moon is moving away from the earth at nearly four centimetres a year. In about six hundred million years time it will appear too small in the sky to cause a total eclipse, annular eclipses only are what they will see.

If you lined them up equator-to-equator, you could fit the seven other planets in the solar system - plus Pluto, if you're a traditionalist - in the distance between Earth and the moon.
