Dilemma

Postby old fart on Thu Jul 04, 2019 10:50 am

Just finished gardening, cut lawns back and front tidied edges dead headed roses and clematis, taken me 2 hours from 8 :30.

My dilemma is: is it too early to have an ice cold Peroni?

It's always 5 o'clock somewhere in the world.

But yes, after lunch. Or with lunch. Have lunch now?

Depends if you’re meant to be working from home today or not. I am, but it’s July 4th and I work for Americans, so I won’t have to do anything today. This is always the period when there’s the least amount of issues to fix, because those numpties aren’t busy f*cking everything up.

So this means the normal time to start drinking has been pushed back to 12pm precisely.

^ Good shout, old fart you need to get in some session ales for the mornings. Something around 3.5% so you're not totally bollocksed by lunchtime.

Christ I miss the days when I could sit on the sofa all day drinking beer and watching cricket.
