Possibly but going to 442 from the start has not worked once this season, we were abysmal, I think Hernandez is better when he comes on off of the bench too.Crouchend_Hammer wrote:

He's a good player. Unfortunately Sky got the wrong player, the striker Mbenza got carded, not Billing. So he can play against us Saturday.JLCABA wrote:Billing looked decent in centre midfield for Huddersfield... got his 5th booking though so won’t be troubling us this Saturday

Crouchie, it's getting to a point where you're the "Ironing Board" equivalent for Hernandez.
Mentality, squad management, whatever else: Diangana is playing well and playing with some consistency. Be mad to drop him.

Same team to start for me. Get at them as quick as we did v's Burnley. Be prepared for them to attempt to pack the midfield to stifle our possession by pinging it long to the wide positions if need be.
The cynic in me says Snodgrass to get intentionally carded. Means he'll miss Man City but Noble will be back (I appreciate that they have different attributes). Both will be/have been rested for their next game and the management have to look at the overall picture.
Any win to nil and I'll be happy.

Watched Huddersfield v Fulham for about 60 mins last night, jeepers they were both poor, Huddersfield worked their knackers off to get a result, just lacked quality.
We match their work rate Saturday and we should win with out extra quality going forward. Oh, good chance we will concede from a corner/set piece, again.

We need to be better under the high ball in this game as we flapped a few times vs Burnley and they managed to get into our third too easily via this route. hope we've done a few drills to be prepared to win 2nd balls. Be nice to get back to back wins for once as we didn't manage it last season.

I’m just glad Huddersfield got their first goal and win last night against Fulham, you just knew it would have been against us otherwise!

This isn't a must win at all, more of a must not lose.
An away draw against these struggling teams stops them catching us up and I'd take that now.
1-1 and another goal for Marko.

This is how they lined up last night, although I think that Billing may have received his 5th yellow, too.
Lossl
Jorgensen
Schindler
Kongolo
Hadergjonaj
Billing
Hogg
Lowe
Mooy
Mounie
Pritchard
Substitutes
Smith
Bacuna (s 90')
Hamer
Sobhi
van La Parra
Mbenza (s 82')
Depoitre (s 56')
They have scored 5 in 11 games (so just less than a goal every two games).
They are one of 5 teams to have conceded 20 or more goals.
Their results thus far replicate Newcastle W1, D3, L7

Last night's result was a welcomed boost for them. Hopefully we can get them on the back foot early doors. We don't need to win the game in the first half, they need to attack. We are one of the games they should win, if they want to stay up.

I'm just hoping it was a case of they won against a team who on the night were even worse than them. It might give them a confidence boost but hopefully we'll just have too much skill for them.

As jhammers has already replied Sky got the caption wrong. It was Mbenxa who was carded so Billing is free to play.

He's only got 4.
Apparently, he had a good game last night. He's huge and mobile but so poor technically IMO.

That’s the first time I’ve seen Schindlers name in a list.

When he got the yellow last night it said '5th yellow card, will miss next game V West Ham'Patito wrote:

A repeat of the 4-1 win up there previously would be nice.
Knowing us they'll be buoyed by their first win and we'll labour to a defeat.
