Payet? [POLL]

Post by HammerMan2004 »

The whispers probably won’t go away until he finds a new club, but would you take a 32 year old Payet back? Under any circumstances?

Could he do a job? Can he be welcomed back? You’d think our board could easily market it as a “he’s got unfinished business” story.

Can we have a poll please? Simply yes or no?

I’d love him back for two years. He simply brought a ridiculous amount of joy to me personally when he played. You felt a surge in the crowd when we had a set piece.

I'd have him back as long as his team mates wanted him. He's a bit like Arnie when his heads in the right place it's a joy but when it's not it's painful.

Yes.

Of course it would end badly, and it won’t be the same as before. But think of the hush of expectation that would descend over the crowd whenever we got a free kick just outside the box. Football is about moments like that.

First season Payet would obviously be welcome back. Zero chance of it happening.

Heart says absolutely yes. He's a genius that gets you out of your seat.
Head says I dunno, is he our future? Shouldn't we be looking at younger players?
