Beer/Lager/Cider/Spirits/Wine.. Thread

The other thread seems to have disappeared.

Just tried a pack of Brewdog Lost Lager, a dry-hoped pilsner, it's instantly my favourite drink of theirs now, lovely drop.

Lager should be cold and cheap. Very cold fosters on an extremely hot day can be absolute nectar, esp with a dash of lemonade. Many of today’s pompous self-styled “craft beers” are pretty unpleasant.

Agree on the Fosters, Coors light is quite pleasant, too.

Fosters is bad.

Coors is somehow worse.

I am currently drinking a Camden Hells. It's alright but i don't particularly appreciate lager anymore.

A love an IPA. I have some £15 bottles of Italian beer to drink tonight that my wife pilfered from work. They are really good.

I like the malty flavour in Amstel, as it happens.

But, if I am in the pub, I go for an IPA most of the time.

Beavertown Neck Oil
Blue Moon on draught with an orange
Honey Dew

Cider
Aspall's but I find it just kills me, seems to be stronger than your average Magners

I had my first beer in 60 days today, it was a can of Heineken 00.

Ok so not real beer as its alcohol free but was quite nice, tasted like the normal stuff but a little watered down.

Was quite refreshing in the heat

Yeah I couldn't resist it, but still alcohol free so my soberness remains intact! I bought 2 cans from Tesco earlier and just had the one, will save the other for another day.

Nicely done VH. I’ve been drinking 0% beer shandy much of the day. Extremely refreshing.

lagers are mostly between "*****" and "meh", but they do their job if ice-cold, and when it's ice-cold i find it difficult to make up what lager i'm drinking, with very few exceptions.

good old forst and budvar being two of those exceptions.

i'm drinking super bock at the moment. ok.

I'm on the red original one. I really like the Coruja IPA, very hoppy but I like that in a beer.
