Had to make my own dinner last night as Jen had to take Dan to Broadford to catch the 6.30 pm bus to Portree -
Butterfly pasta in green pesto , broccoli and two salmon steaks .
For ' pudding ' I mixed a bit of lemon curd into some Greek yoghurt along with a teaspoon of sugar - did the job .

Re: the dinner thread
Those that like the BBQ , including that absolute knobber Dan
I can not rate it highly enough, equal amounts of paprika, mustard and olive oil on a whole chicken, low and slow the ****er , for around 2.5 hours on 180C offset, then sear it over flames for 5 mins
It's a thing of beauty

Re: the dinner thread
We had guests for Sunday lunch yesterday and Mrs CRS pulled out all the stops. Roasted leg of lamb that had been marinated in honey, balsamic vinegar, lemon, rosemary and garlic, roast tatties, roast parsnips, broccoli, carrots, peas, gravy and mint sauce. Rhubarb crumble and ice cream for pudding.
