Fine match. Not at all put out by the so-called quality of the opposition and was well looked after by his senior teammates.

Derby County

1-2: Saturday, 31st December

Some good work was spoilt a bit by his involvement in the two early goals that cost us.

Barnsley

1-0: Saturday, 17th December

Good in defence and excellent going forward. Has a decent left foot on him, resulting in a succession of dangerous looking crosses from the left. Given the fact that he couldnít have known he was going to start until quite late this was a fine and assured debut which earns him my MOTM award. Heíd be too young to drink the traditional bottle of champagne so itís just as well we donít award one anyway.
