KUMB.com and the Podcast team are delighted to confirm that Hammers cult hero Jimmy Walker will be one of the star guests headlining this year's KUMB Awards Live show.

The annual KUMB.com Awards is set this year for Thursday, 28 May and will take place, live, at a venue in London to be confirmed shortly. We will be joined on the night by Walker, one of the heroes of the Cardiff play-off win against Preston in 2005 plus one other star guest, whose identity we will reveal shortly.

Goalkeeper Walker, affectionately known as 'Wacka' signed for West Ham in the summer of 2004 following West Ham's disappointing play-off final defeat to Crystal Palace. As well as his performance in the play-off final, he is perhaps most fondly remembered for saving Frank Lampard's penalty at Stamford Bridge in a League Cup tie.

Ticket prices and details of how you may book yours will follow on KUMB next week.

* Last year's KUMB Awards Live took place at a packed East Ham Working Men's Club, where we were joined by Frank McAvennie, Martin 'Mad Dog' Allen and Jeremy Nicholas.

On the night, the full list of 12 annual KUMB Awards were revealed live by our Podcast team of Chris Scull and James Longman. Supporters also took the opportunity to quiz the players in a Q&A and have a chat afterwards.
