KUMB member ANTKB is running the RBC Race for the Kids 2015 next month to help raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

ANTKB - better known to his friends and family as Colin Bailey - will be partaking in the 5k event in the company of daughter Matilda, who is wheelchair-bound and has spent many years receiving treatment from the world-famous children's hospital.

Hammers fan Colin, whose sponsorship page may be found here told KUMB: "The RBC Race for the Kids is Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity's annual 5k family fun run.

"I'll be be taking part with thousands of other runners to raise vital funds. Any help to raise the profile and to raise funds for this amazing hospital that has touched our lives for over 15 years would be greatly appreciated."

Great Ormond Street Hospital (originally known as The Hospital for Sick Children) first opened on Valentine's Day 1852, with just 10 beds. It has since become one of the world's leading children's hospitals, housing the widest range of specialists under one roof.

The Hospital has been supported by many notable individuals over the years including JM Barrie (who donated the rights of Peter Pan to the hospital in 1929), Charles Dickens, Queen Victoria and Diana Princess of Wales.
