Arnautovic not a doubt for Wolves game!

There was some confusion this morning regarding Marko Arnautovic's availability for this weekend's Premier League visit of Wolves.

Sky Sports initially ran with a story, which was briefly reproduced here on KUMB, proclaiming that the Austrian was unavailable for the Wolves match having failed to recover from a knee injury he picked up against Arsenal last weekend.

However Pellegrini specifically stated during Thursday's press conference that the Austrian has "no problems" as a result of the knock, which led to him being substituted during the second half of West Ham's 3-1 defeat.

The confusion appears to have arisen from a question during today's press conference in which a journalist enquired whether Arnautovic would be "out on Saturday" - to which Pellegrini replied: "Yes, yes" - before adding: "He has no problems, from Tuesday he has been working."

Pellegrini's full comments regarding Arnautovic were as follows:

"Marko has a small problem behind his knee. In the last game [against Arsenal] he was not comfortable to play the final minutes but he has passed all the examinations with the doctor and from Tuesday he has worked all week with no problems."

And when subsequently asked whether the club's leading goalscorer would therefore be unavailable for Saturday's match, Pellegrini replied as per above - presumably indicating that he WILL be available!
