West Ham are set for a goalkeeper swap this summer with current number two Adrian poised to leave the club imminently.

The popular Spanish goalkeeper, who initially signed for West Ham in the summer of 2013 will not be offered an extended contract this summer having spent much of the 2018/19 campaign on the bench behind Lukasz Fabianski.

And that news has alerted a string of clubs across the continent, including some Premier League rivals, although Real Betis - from whom the 32-year-old moved to West Ham six years ago - is currently considered to be Adrian's most likely next destination.

Whilst several potential replacements are currently being considered, Cardiff's Neil Etheridge - who enjoyed an excellent season between the sticks even though City were relegated from the Premier League - and Chelsea's Willy Caballero are understood to be favourites.

However any deal involving the 37-year-old Argentine is dependent on Caballero failing to secure a short-term contract extension from his current club, which remains under discussion.

Meanwhile West Ham's third choice stopper, the Bermuda-born Nathan Trott who was initially recommended to the club by compatriot and former Hammer Clyde Best, recently signed a two-year contract extension tying him at the club until 2022.
