Cullen tipped for the top

West Ham United's on-loan midfielder Josh Cullen has been tipped to play at the highest level.

Charlton midfielder Darren Pratley may be nearing the end of his own professional career at the age of 34, but he knows a promising young player when he sees one.

And according the the Addicks' Barking-born veteran, whose career has encompassed four clubs and more than 400 appearances, Cullen is just one of several Charlton's youngsters who are demonstrating that they possess all the necessary attributes to make it at the very highest level.

Before then however, Pratley very much hopes that Charlton's young stars can take their positive form into the forthcoming play off final against Sunderland.

"Your (Joe) Aribos, (Josh) Cullens, Dillons (Phillips) and (Anfernee) Dijksteels, they're very good players and I think they'll go on to have big careers," said Pratley.

"When you're young, you're fearless. These boys are fearless and they need to be playing at a higher level. All they want to do is play football. They're better than League One [standard] and hopefully we can illustrate that at Wembley. "

Charlton - including Cullen - face Sunderland in the League One play off final at Wembley this Sunday.
